Lizush:
Natural Bath & Body Care.

Luxury Gift Sets & Individual Natural Products

Introduction

Lizush is a California-based company specializing in crafting 100% natural, safe, and non-toxic bath and body products.

Visual Asset Creation

Short videos, styled product shots, lifestyle and contextual images that were used across the website, e-commerce platforms, and social media channels. Each image was carefully crafted to connect with customers on an emotional level while reinforcing the brand’s natural, handcrafted aesthetic.

Website Design

I designed Lizush' website (lizush.com), making sure the digital experience aligned with Lizush’s established aesthetic and product identity. I customized the Shopify theme by adjusting HTML, CSS, and Shopify’s Liquid code to improve the layout, design, and overall functionality.

When deeper technical changes were required, I guided developers by clearly outlining the desired functionality, visual details, or specific bugs that needed fixing.

User Experience

As part of my work, I regularly improved the performance of individual pages through a continuous process of analysis and iteration.

In this example, I was tasked with enhancing the contact page to encourage more users to reach out. After making a small change—adding a picture of the business owner next to the form—the message submission rate increased by 80%, demonstrating how even small adjustments can make a big difference.

I spent time reviewing user recordings on Hotjar to understand where users were facing challenges or frustrations. By identifying these pain points, I was able to implement thoughtful fixes and redesigns to improve the overall experience.

In this video, you'll see an example of a recurring issue observed in several session replays. Users interacted with the product image gallery by swiping through the images, but when they reached the last one, they instinctively tried to swipe again. This behavior revealed a deeper mental model shaped by modern image gallery patterns (like Amazon product gallery), where users expect galleries to loop or feel continuous. By changing to a circular gallery, I aligned the interaction with user expectations and helped maintain flow and engagement.
